NEW! Drypoint Etching

NEW! Drypoint Etching
Tutor: Usva Inei at Vauxhall Studio
Date: Saturday 18 July, 10-4pm
During this day course, we will be exploring drypoint etching, an accessible, immediate, and non-toxic approach to printmaking that makes use of pointed tools to scratch directly into a plate.
In addition to learning the traditional way of creating a drypoint etching, we will experiment with alternative materials and processes to create layered, multicolour prints! You will learn how to prepare a drypoint etching plate, use various tools and materials, as well as ink up, print and edition your artwork.
All levels are welcome.
Groups will be kept small to allow for ample space to make work.
