Lino Course
Lino Course
Tutor: Usva Inei at Vauxhall Studio
New dates tbc
Introduction to lino; cutting and printing a simple black and white design over the course of two evening sessions. The tutor will demonstrate the safe use of linocut tools, so you will understand how to cut lino safely and confidently. You will learn how to print using a press. Running the course over two sessions allows you the opportunity to carry on working with your lino cutting at home between the two sessions.
You will need to bring along an image or drawing to use as a starting point / template for the lino cut, either in a sketch book, print out or on your device. All tools and materials will be provided.
All levels are welcome.
Groups will be kept small to allow for ample space to make work.
