SOPHIE SPEYER
Sophie Speyer is Sophie is a London-based Fashion Artist and Printmaker. She is really enjoying her residency at Bainbridge Print Studios in Croydon, where she is exploring ways to make fashion illustrations as silkscreen prints. She’s a proud Fida member & Fida drawing awards 2021 Finalist. Drawing and painting are always the preparation for her Printmaking process. Fashion, or people in fashion provide the inspiration for her artwork. Her happy place is capturing an expression, whether that’s in the mood of a face or the styling of a look; and Sophie loves the magic of reinventing hand drawn marks through the printmaking process.
